Arbee - August 2024

Another month ends, a busy one! These newsletter always focused on recap of the month, all of the music I have shared. I want to expand it a little bit by also talking about upcoming music.

This September will be quite exciting, there will be a 2 singles of a collaboration project I have with Notation. The full project will come out in October, but those 2 tracks will give you a nice preview of the musical direction of this project. It will be released on a great label as well. You can also expect another collaboration single with the talented musician RINZ.

Also if you want more music from me, I also release music under the name “My second guess”. If you like my drone and ambient music, you should listen to this other artist name I release music with.

Imaginary North is thrilled to present this album, the fifth chapter in an ongoing series by one of our favourite artists, Arbee.

Beginning in December 2023, Arbee has tracked a journey through three EPs - Ménisque, Capillaire, and Tension, and then the album Saturation. On this album, Coalescence, our mysterious figure has found the final destination and is ready to reflect on the journey. Featuring reworked and revisited songs from the previous collection, this album is moodier and relaxed compared to the previous ones. Arbee involved some of his favourite musicians across ambient, electronic, and lofi, including Nova Dust, Late Era, Peter Bark, Kristoffer Eikrem, Kilometre Club, Eeem [eim], Norvik, Lamasz, Grandbruit and zaké.
